Marina work order software, with requests from the dock

SlipRight

Work requests reach most marinas every way at once: a voicemail, a text to the dockmaster's own phone, a note at the counter, a word on the dock that nobody wrote down. The job gets done, mostly, and then someone has to remember what parts went into it and what to bill.

SlipRight puts every request on one board, from the moment a boat owner asks to the invoice, and the boat owner can follow it from their phone.

Asked from the dock, with a photo

A boat owner opens My slip, describes the job, picks the boat, adds a photo or a short video, and sends it. Requests can also start in the office, from a phone call or the Dashboard, and from your marina's own page, where anyone can ask for work on a boat; those land in Inquiries and become a request in one step.

A request from the boat owner's phone: what's wrong, which boat, and a photo or video.

One board, from new to done

Every job sits on the requests board in a column for where it stands: open, in progress, blocked, or resolved. Each card shows its priority, who has it, and the boat and slip, so the yard and the office are looking at the same list. Filter by customer, priority, type, or who has it, and move a card across the board when the work moves. Out on the dock with no signal, a change waits on the phone and goes through when it's back online.

The requests board: open, in progress, blocked, and resolved, each job with its priority and who has it.

Parts and labor, then the invoice

Open a request and add what went into it: a part from your inventory, labor by the hour, or a charge. The invoice is built from those same lines, so nobody types the job twice, and the owner pays it from their phone like any other bill.

A request open beside the board: priority, status, who has it, and the parts and labor its invoice is built from.

Inventory that keeps up with the jobs

A part comes off stock the moment it goes on a job, so the count on the shelf matches the count on the screen. Each part has a reorder point, and SlipRight marks it Low or Out before you run dry. Staff see what a part cost; boat owners see the price.

Inventory: each part on hand, its reorder point, price, and cost, with Low and Out marked.

The conversation stays with the job

Questions, answers, and photos about a job stay on the request they belong to. A note can stay inside the office or be shared with the boat owner, who hears about it the way they chose, by email, push, or text, and again when the job is resolved.

Set up for your yard

The office sets which columns the board shows, the labor rate, and the sales tax, and custom fields on customers and boats carry whatever else the yard tracks. If your service side works another way, tell us how and we'll shape the board around it with you.
