Frequently asked questions

What counts?

Customers you actually run — assigned a slip, a live offer, or an invoice this season. Boats on those accounts. Slips, dry storage, and off-site spots on the map. The bill is the highest of the three. We do not add them together. A waitlist, or a spreadsheet you imported and never assigned, does not count.

If the count moves?

Each bill is that month’s snapshot, not a running total of every add and remove. The marina grew, that month costs more. It shrank, the next bill is smaller. A bad import we will fix — reach out.

When do you bill?

Monthly, for what was on the marina that month. First month free.

Does a second boat cost extra?

It is still one customer. A second boat stays on the same name. If boats are the high count, that boat is on the meter.

Is QuickBooks extra?

QuickBooks will connect from settings when the sync is live. Until then, marina work stays in SlipRight.

Do I need web, mobile, and desktop?

No. Same marina on whichever the office and the dockhands actually use.

Can boat owners use it?

Yes. Tenants get their own login: slip, boats, offer to review, requests, messages, and invoices. A second boat stays on the same name. They do not see your operator tools.
